The Wolverhampton Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Pain Service is commissioned by NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB) for people aged 16 years and over who are registered with a Wolverhampton GP Practice
The service will provides assessment and treatment for people with MSK problems, including care pathways for:
- Orthopaedics
- Rheumatology
- Pain Management
- Physiotherapy
- Gym groups
The service cannot accept referrals for people who:
- Are under 16 years of age
- Require care for a problem that is not related to a musculoskeletal (MSK) condition
- Require emergency treatment
- Are experiencing complications after a surgery or trauma
- Are being investigated for suspected cancer
- Require a second surgical opinion
