An ME/CFS and Long Covid service is a specialist service that provides assessment, guidance and personalised care plans for people suffering from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Long Covid.  

Cora Health is a national independent healthcare provider providing services on behalf of the NHS. Cora specialises in community-based (out-of-hospital) services, including ME/CFS and Long Covid, musculoskeletal (MSK), pain management and rheumatology services.  

Yes, you will need to be referred by your GP to access this service.

You may be seen by a specialist nurse, occupational therapist, doctor or other specialist healthcare professional. The service works as a team, so you are matched with the right professional for your needs.

Your referral is reviewed by a clinical team to make sure you’ve been referred to the right service. If you meet the inclusion criteria for the service, you will then be offered an initial appointment.

No. In many cases appointments can be conducted over the phone or video call. It will depend on what works best for you and the type of care you need. In-person appointments will be arranged where there is a clinical need or if more appropriate for you.

Yes. You and your clinician will make decisions together, based on your goals, preferences and what matters most to you.
