Our prices
Prices listed are the total cost for the procedure and follow up appointment. The cost of initial consultation and any further assessment or diagnostic tests are listed separately.
Initial consultation (Consultant)
A relaxed and informative appointment with one of our consultants where you’ll have the chance to talk through your symptoms, medical history, and any concerns you may have. The consultant will ask questions to understand your situation, may carry out a brief examination if needed, and explain possible causes or next steps.
This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and discuss your treatment options, so you can feel clear and reassured about the plan going forward.
From £180
Follow up appointment (Consultant)
Follow-up appointments may be suggested for further assessment, review your symptoms or any test results, and to continue exploring your treatment options.
From £110
Carpal Tunnel Decompression
This is a straightforward procedure carried out under local anaesthetic, meaning you’ll be awake, but your hand will be numb and comfortable throughout. It is designed to relieve the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome and typically allows you to use your hand soon after the procedure. Most people experience minimal disruption to their usual activities, and self-dissolving stitches are used, so there’s no need for removal.
From £1400
Trigger finger and thumb release
This procedure is designed to help your finger or thumb move more freely and reduce pain or locking. It’s carried out under local anaesthetic, so your hand will be numb and comfortable throughout. You’ll usually be able to use your hand again straight after the procedure, with minimal disruption to your daily activities, and self-dissolving stitches are used for added convenience.
From £1990
Steroid injections
Steroid injections are used to help reduce pain and inflammation in joints such as the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. The treatment is usually quick and can help improve movement and comfort, making it easier to carry out everyday activities.
From £305
Dupuytren’s Surgery
This procedure involves carefully removing the thickened tissue in the palm that can cause the fingers to bend inwards. It is designed to improve movement and help your fingers straighten more easily. Your consultant will talk you through what to expect and support you in regaining comfortable hand function after surgery.
Ganglion Surgery
This procedure involves removing a fluid-filled cyst (ganglion) that can develop in the hand or wrist. These cysts can sometimes cause discomfort or restrict movement. The surgery is designed to relieve symptoms and restore comfort, helping you return more easily to your usual activities.
From £2300
Nerve Surgery
Nerve surgery is carried out to relieve pressure on compressed nerves, helping to reduce pain, numbness, or tingling. This includes common conditions such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome, as well as less common nerve problems. The procedure can also address ongoing nerve-related pain following previous injuries. Your consultant will guide you through the options and support you on your path to improved comfort and function.
From £1990
Tendon Surgery
Tendon surgery is carried out to restore movement and function in the hand and wrist. This can include procedures such as trigger finger release or repairing tendons that have become damaged, stuck, or ruptured. The aim is to improve flexibility, reduce discomfort, and help you get back to using your hand with greater ease. Your consultant will guide you through the most suitable approach for your individual needs.
From £1400
Surgery for Arthritis in the Hand
There are a range of surgical and non-surgical options available to help manage arthritis in the hand, particularly when it affects the base of the thumb or the finger joints. Your consultant will talk you through the most appropriate approaches for you, which may include procedures such as trapeziectomy, joint replacement, denervation, or joint fusion, as well as guided steroid injections. The aim is to reduce pain, improve movement, and support you in regaining comfortable, everyday use of your hand.
