Our Pain Rehabilitation Programme (PRP) is designed to help you improve your quality of life whilst living with persistent pain.
Our team includes clinical specialists in the field of pain management who may have a professional background from:
- Psychology
- Nursing
- Occupational Therapy
- Osteopathy
- Physiotherapy
Our teams work collectively, with you to develop your skills in managing your symptoms.
What to Expect
Dependent on your need following assessment, your clinician will arrange for you to attend a PRP that runs over 6, 12 or 18 hours.
The groups typically have up to 10 people.
The groups include a mix of physical and psychological therapy/approaches to support your well-being and ability to do the things in life that matter to you.
How effective are PRPs?
The effectiveness of pain management programs can vary from person to person and their ability to engage in the program. However, clinical research has shown that PRP can improve physical functioning, emotional well-being and overall quality of life for many people with persistent pain.
