Phoebe has had a varied and successful career in radiography to date, and has progressed to senior operational and people management positions. She is our imaging lead, leading the department and her responsibilities include ensuring the health and safety of her teams and patients, people management, training, performing scans on patients including elite athletes and setting up and managing new services as the business grows.
Phoebe has an interesting academic background, with qualifications in both the humanities and radiography, in addition to an MBA. She has worked extensively in both NHS and private care settings.
For me, I love the diversity of the kind of patients that I work with, who are very grateful for what you do, however working for Cora gives me more opportunities to make suggestions for ways we can do things better and take ownership of those projects.
Though there is a team structure, it doesn’t feel hierarchical and it’s very friendly. I’ve gained a lot of different experiences in my career but I’ve still found opportunities to learn new things. For example, I received fantastic training in how to deliver DEXA (bone density) scans, which was completely new to me, and now we run an effective new service.
