What can this service help with?
The East Sussex Community Pain Management Service provides support for people aged 16 years or older who suffer with persistent/chronic pain. This means pain that persists longer than 3 months due to musculoskeletal conditions.
Our team is formed of multidisciplinary pain specialists: Nurses, Physiotherapists, Consultants in Pain Medicine, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists.
We offer:
- Individual pain management sessions
- Pain Rehabilitation Programmes
- Pain Psychology
- Complex Case Review
- Medication Reviews
- Injections in our Mobile Injection Unit or Theatre (latter is primarily for sedation).
Referrals to this service
Self-referral is not currently available in this service. You can be referred to the service via your GP practice, Consultant or Allied Health Professional.
