You may have noticed our new name, Cora Health, in places where you would have previously seen the name Connect Health or Healthshare.

We’re excited to let you know that Connect Health and Healthshare have come together as one organisation, combining our decades of experience in providing healthcare services on behalf of the NHS into one team – stronger together, with a shared commitment to your care.
Why the name Cora?
‘Cora’ has several meanings including core, honesty, and heart. It reflects what matters most to us: proving care for people with kindness, compassion, and heart. At Cora Health, we put patients at the centre of everything we do.
What does this change mean for you?
We know that our name isn’t what matters most to you. What matters is how we care for you. Our priority will always be to provide the best outcomes and the best experience for those who need us.
If you are accessing one of our services you’ll still speak to the same friendly voices, see the same dedicated professionals at the same venues, and most importantly get the same great care. It really is just our name that’s changed.
Working together, we’re continuing our mission to make healthcare better for you —improving waiting times, making care more joined-up, and creating easier ways for you to get the help you need, when you need it.
We’re still committed to making sure your voice shapes the future of the care we offer, and we’ll look for your feedback at every step of the way.
We’re proud of what we’ve built together and excited about what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of our journey.
More about us
NHS clinicians founded Connect Health and Healthshare to improve care for NHS patients, working in partnership with GPs, hospitals, third-sector teams, and commissioners.
We have been delivering care to patients for over 35 years.
Every year, we care for more than one million people. 93 out of 100 patients say they would recommend us.
Just like when we started, we’re still led by healthcare professionals. Healthcare is changing fast, and we believe it should be more joined-up, personalised, and easy to access.
We continually improve by caring for more people with complex needs, embracing new ideas, and ensuring each person receives individual attention.
We know that great care starts with great people. That’s why we invest in our colleagues.
Our clinical teams work at the highest level of their skills, while our support teams constantly seek new ways to improve care, collaborate effectively, and enhance patient outcomes.
Our team of over 1,300 people includes:
- Physiotherapists and Advanced Practitioners

What we do
We work across most of England, partnering with the NHS and other major providers.
Our services run from over 150 locations, such as large health centres, local clinics, and even leisure centres. We also offer digital support when it helps patients get care more easily.
Our teams listen to local needs and work with patients, the NHS, and partners to solve real problems in community healthcare. We focus on results, patient experience, fair access, and value for local communities.
As the environment continues to challenge us all, Cora Health is constantly striving to support the NHS in new ways, using its resources, skills and experience of setting up services in the community to make systems more sustainable for patients and our health system partners, and to improve the experience of our workforce.
