We are pleased to invite you to a unique opportunity to spend one hour with our Musculoskeletal (MSK) therapy team and a range of local community and health providers.
This event has been designed to help you understand your options, access support, and make informed decisions about managing your condition. Rather than a traditional clinical appointment, the focus is on meaningful conversations, practical advice, and helping you find the right support for your needs.
What to Expect
During your one-hour visit, you will have the opportunity to move around a number of information and support stations, including:
- “Let’s Chat” conversations focused on what matters most to you.
- Rehabilitation and exercise advice from our therapy team.
- Self-management guidance and support to help you manage your condition confidently.
- Community and health support services that may benefit your wellbeing.
- Demonstrations of our classes and programmes available within the service.
Our therapists will use a strengths-based approach, focusing on your goals, existing abilities, and personal circumstances to help you identify the most appropriate next steps.
A range of community organisations will also be available to provide information and support, helping us bring services together under one roof in line with GIRFT (Get It Right First Time) guidance.
On the Day
Please choose an available one-hour time slot when booking your place below, we have 3 dates and areas to choose from.
When you arrive, follow the event signs to the venue check-in area. You will receive a patient passport, which contains useful information and space for you to make notes as you visit the different stations.
At the back of the passport, there is a section for our therapists to complete. Please ensure you hand your passport back before leaving the event.
What Happens Next?
By the end of the event, together we will consider the most appropriate next step for you. This may include:
- Discharge from the service with advice and support to self-manage confidently.
- Remaining on our follow-up pathway, providing up to three months’ access to the service if required.
- Staying on the waiting list for a face-to-face assessment with a therapist.
Our therapists will discuss their recommendations with you so that you can make an informed decision about your care.
